Call for Cultural Jurors

The City of Regina is seeking 10 representatives of our artistic, cultural heritage and cultural industries communities to serve on the Culture Community Investment jury for 2014.

Members of this jury will act as peer evaluators, providing recommendations for the Community Investment Grants Program that funds festivals, exhibitions, performances, as well as other arts and cultural initiatives including capital projects. For more information on program objectives and key priorities visit:

Jurors should be capable of providing a critical analysis of community applications under review. The work involves reading though applications over a number of hours (approximately 20 total) and reaching a collective decision at jury meetings likely to occur in March 2014. Each member of the jury will receive a modest honorarium. Selection of the jury aims to cover the widest range of artistic and cultural disciplines, as well as reflect the diversity of the city of Regina.

This exciting and meaningful opportunity allows community members to contribute to the City of Regina’s funding process that serves to enrich and develop our city through art and culture.

Applications for jurors will be received until Friday, February 14, 2014.

To apply, please e-mail a paragraph-length statement of interest and a current CV (curriculum vitae) to:
